By the process of that coal reacts with gasification-agent (air & steam) under the definite pressure and temperature to generate syngas which is consist of CO, H2 and CH4. Coal Gasifier can convert the solid coal into gas fuel, then purify the coal gas to meet the requirement for use as fuel, so as to avoid the soot clog due to the direct burning of coal. The smoke can reach the Environmental Protection Grade I Region Standard without any dust cleaning apparatus. Coal gas is a so clean fuel which can match oil gas but the price is only one quarter of it.
Types of Gasifier: According to the different requirement on cleaness degree of gas, there are two technics, Cold Clean Coal Gas Technics and Hot Dirty Coal Gas Technics. According to structure of gasifier and further treatment of coal gas, the gasifiers have following different types:

Single stage gasifier generater coal gas with the temperature from 450-550°C, after that it goes into the gravity dust collector to remove dust and tar, after that coal gas go throught the cyclone dust collector for secondary cleaning, then coal gas was transported to burning device
Clean Coal Gas Technics Characteristic of double Stage cold gas station:
Two-stage gasifier gas is divided into the upper gas and the lower gas. Upper gas temperature is 90-150°C, after the removal of heavy tar and dust by electric tar catcher, it goes into the indirect cooler and it is cooled to 35-45°C for electric light oil catcher. Lower gas temperature is about 450-550°C, it goes into the cyclone dust collector first, after that it enters the waste heat exchanger, to cool the gas and recover the heat from it, gas temperature is reduced to 200-230°C before entering the wind cooling system, the temperature is dropped to 65-80°C after the wind cooling process. Through indirect cooler, lower gas is cooled to 35-45°C by circulating cooling water. After all the process, upper gas and lower gas go to the electric light oil catcher II for secondary oil and dust removal. The purified gas is then pressurized and transport to user through pipes.
